Trailers bounce pretty well in earthquakes. We don’t have tornadoes, we have quakes.
I stand (self) corrected. Mobile homes fall off their pedestals and can be damaged in quakes. There’a a simple, inexpensive fix which of course the industry has apparently blocked.
About 7,900 mobile homes were destroyed in the Northridge earthquake because they didn’t have ERBS (earthquake-resisting bracing systems).
