My blogging routine

When I rise in the morning I dress and walk Qila and Jenny. After our walk I start my breakfast oatmeal and begin reading blogs.

I start every morning with Lileks. Lileks is a wonderful writer and his blog intermingles his daily life, pop culture, and political commentary.

After Lileks I go to several blogs to which I return frequently through the day to “keep my ear to the ground”: Jeff Jarvis, The Corner at NRO, Glenn Reynolds, The Command Post, and Rantburg. Jeff Jarvis is currently on a tear about the Howard Stern/censorship business and is usually good about blogging and bloggers. The Corner is a potpourri political and social commentary, the arts, and interesting stuff. Instapundit (Glenn Reynolds) is, well, Instapundit. It’s a junction box. Go there and you’ll see what I mean.

For discourse and debate about politics and the War on Terror I’ll go to Winds of Change, Tacitus, and Roger L. Simon. Read the comments at these sites.

More on blogging tomorrow.
