How the Other Half Lives

I strongly recommend you take a look at this post from the Wall Street Journal. It’s chock-full of interesting information about how people earn and spending their incomes at different income levels. Would you find it shocking that 40% of all Americans spend more than half of their income on just two necessities: food and housing. Or that the highest 10% of income earners derive 83% of their income from wages and salary? The top 10% are not spats-wearing coupon-clippers. For that you’ve got to go up to the top .1%.
