Pretty! We do something slightly similar with our ornaments, choosing or making ornaments that celebrate key events in the life of our kids. So we have lights and shiny round balls but we also have stuff like fire hydrant ornaments to remind us of a stage when the son was obsessed with fire hydrants. (Your wife’s are much more skillfully made than ours. She has some skill.)
