All week long the finish carpenter has been doing the exacting, detailed work of putting in the molding and trim, putting in the doors, etc. In the picture above you can see the trim around the windows, sills, the baseboard trim, and the picture rails along the top. We’re doing our best to keep the new addition as consistent with the pre-existing parts of the house as we can.
Here’s the trim in the master bath.
Now he’s doing the same things on the first floor.
Next week we expect the tile guy to return and complete the last few details in the master bath and first floor bath as well as setting the tile on the fireplace fronts and kitchen and butler’s pantry backsplashes.
