Now this is a cool hack. A 17-year old computer science student in Germany, Nils Schneider, reverse engineered the iPod boot loader (in order to build Linux for the iPod) by converting the code to clicks through the iPod itself, then reverse engineering it on another system. Here’s a kid worth hiring before someone else gets him.
