If you’re not familiar with Canine Companions for Independence, they’re:
a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
CCI is completely funded by private donations—no government money is involved. They’re one of the charities to which we contribute. Check out the linked video if you want to get a good idea of why it’s a worthy cause.
