Second Childhood

The other day something occurred to me. When you are very young, people, particularly your parents, come up to you and say “What does the doggie say?”, “What does the kitty say?”, or “What does the cow say?” and so on. Eventually that stops.

However, much, much later in life something rather similar resumes. People start saying to you “What does your financial advisor say?”, “What does the cardiologist say?”, or “What does the rheumatologist say?”.

The circle of life, I guess.
