For reasons that aren’t entirely clear to me Thursday always seems to be a slow news day. Are the folks who work for the major news outlets taking furlough days on Thursdays? Do they routinely take four day weekends? If so, it certainly isn’t The Front Page any more!

I’ve tried to do my part. I was interviewed on background by the Post-Dispatch for a story that appeared today. What was it? Too boring to share.
I suspect the stories that surround a study or report that you find interesting are dropped into the media early in the week to get the advantage of a week of coverage before attentions fade on Friday or Saturday. (When of course the really interesting stuff is released)
