Hiring the Best and the Brightest

Having advisors who are tops in their fields has its hazards. Pitting them against one another and letting the best man/woman/whatever win is no guarantee of success and weak management to boot.

It takes a strong manager to deal with the best and the brightest and as a rule we don’t elect presidents who are strong managers.
