If you said that they were all populist nationalists, you’d be right but that’s not what I’m thinking about.
If you said they were all men who were enemies of liberty, you’d be right but that’s not what I’m thinking about, either.
If you said they were all men who were enemies of the United States, I’m afraid you’d still be right but that’s still not what I’m thinking about.
All three of these men find their grasp on power becomes weaker as long as oil stays below $70 a barrel. Something to think about the next time you fill your tank.

Of course all three could just turn off the taps for a few months…
In which case the economies of all three of their countries would collapse, their people would revolt, and they’d all be dead or out of power.
