Making the “Debates” More Interesting

While I’m on the subject of the “debates”, I think that the ire about planted questions is misplaced and isn’t looking at the larger picture. Wouldn’t it be much more interesting and exciting if the Democratic aspirants or, at least, the top-tier aspirants could ask each of the Republican aspirants a direct question in the Republican debate and the Republican aspirants or, at least, the top-tier aspirants could ask each of the Democratic aspirants a direct question? I think we’d see a lot more fur and sparks flying and tapdancing that way.

  • Why would I care about what the Dem candidates want to ask the Republicans in a primary debate? That’s a closed shop for us Republican voters. (Similarly for the Democrats & their voters, of course.) Of course, I can’t stand to watch those things anyway, so perhaps I shouldn’t bother having an opinion…..
