It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted any new pictures of the dogs and, since we’ve lost three dogs in fifteen months, my pack has undergone quite a transformation. You can click on the above for a larger picture. I haven’t done any re-touching to get rid of the reflections behind their eyes.
Tally (left) is now the dowager of the pack. She’s slowed down noticeably since this time last year. I think that grief is at least one of the causes. She’s looking and acting like an old lady these days.
Nola and Will are gawky adolescents. Nola (center) is, well, a very busy girl. She’s always into things. Everything. Nothing is safe from her no matter where it is. She’s completely out of coat right now. My wife and I think she’s nekkid. If you’re not aware of it, there’s a difference between naked and nekkid. Naked means you have no clothes on. Nekkid means you have no clothes on and you’re up to something. Nola is nekkid.
Will (right) is a tremendously endearing dog. Everybody loves Will. He’s incredibly well-behaved, so much so that you scarcely ever need to tell him to do something different than whatever he’s doing. That’s fortunate, since he’s likely to ignore what you tell him, anyway.
That’s an absolute cute overload! (With teeth…)
I’m struck by how wolf-like they look, and how indefatigable. Their presence must be very reassuring.
Nola even looks like trouble looking for a place to happen! Around our house we call that a gleam in the eye.
You have no idea.
