The Council Has Spoken!

The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post was Bookworm Room’s post, “Judging People By Their Friends and Their Enemies”, in which Bookworm considers those President Bush’s reception on his recent trip to Europe. Second place honors went to another post on the Six Days War, Right Wing Nut House’s post on Reagan’s Berlin Wall speech, “”And the Wall Came a Tum-ba-lin’ Down’”.

The winning non-Council post was Michael Yon’s post, “Death or Glory Part II of IV”. If you aren’t following Michael Yon’s reports from Iraq, you owe it to yourself to take a look. He’s no lock-step administration mouthpiece and, if there were justice in what people do and do not read, he’d have an audience in the scores of millions. Second place honors went to Family Security Matters’s post, “Why the Pew Study of American Muslims is Dangerously Incomplete”.

The complete results are here.
