My heart goes out to the Lebanese, Israelis, and the people in the Palestinian territories caught up in the hostilities there. But I think that human response doesn’t equate to support for either Hezbollah or Hamas. Quite the opposite. What in Hezbollah or Hamas’s history would make anyone think that they have the slightest interest in peace or freedom for the Lebanese or Palestinian people respectively?
Every place I can think of in which an Islamist organization like Hezbollah has gained control has been neither peaceful nor free.
