The Shreveport Times has endorsed Mitt Romney for president:
The questions and concerns we have about the current state of the nation go way beyond just asking “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” With both the U.S. and global economies in dire positions, it should be clear to voters the task before our next commander in chief is epic. And the problem is obvious in headlines every day. There are 23 million Americans who are either unemployed, working in part-time, low-paying jobs … or have just quit looking for work.
Our nation needs an economic revival, and we think our best chances for that lie with Mitt Romney.
I suspect that the Times shares ownership with Florida Today. Fortunately, its editorial fit on a single page so I could excerpt it reasonably. The Times endorsed Barack Obama in 2008.
