ABC News is reporting that Al Jazeera has reported a new tape from Osama Bin Laden. On the tape Bin Laden, who hasn’t been heard from since December 2004 (if, indeed, it was Bin Laden then and is now), makes statements that suggest a December 2005 creation date or later for the tape and makes direct but non-specific threats against the United States i.e. “operations are in progress, etc.”.

ANOTHER UPDATE: The CIA has confirmed that the voice on the tape is, indeed, Osama Bin laden.
