Catching my eye: morning A through Z

Here’s what’s caught my eye this morning:

  • If you’re a poetry fan you probably won’t want to read Acephalous’s parody of Langston Hughes’s poem, The Negro Speaks of Rivers. However, if you think that Joan Rivers is fair game for lampooning, you probably will.
  • Commenter Thomas Holsinger’s guest post on Winds of Change on the legal problems that may be caused by the McCain Amendment is definitely worth reading. More on the subject from James Joyner of Outside the Beltway.
  • Tony Blair is successfully bringing unity to the European Union—against the spending cuts to the EU budget proposed by Britain.
  • Tom Maguire of JustOneMinute has posted his list of (mostly Plame-related) predictions for 2006.

That’s the lot.
