The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. This week the winning Council post was Right Wing Nut House’s post, “Guns, Germs, and Moonbats”. In second place was my own post, Discussing withdrawal from Iraq.
The winning non-Council post was blog-friend Marc Schulman of American Future’s outstanding documentation of the evolution of The New York Times’s editorial position on the war in Iraq, “The New York Times on Iraq, 1993-2005”. If Pulitzer Prizes were awarded for blogging, this would be a runaway favorite. The second place post was Varifrank’s post on Ramsey Clark, “From the Law Offices of Dewey, Cheatam and Howe”.
