Will the Anger End?

Believe it or not, the election will take place in just two weeks and for most of us I presume it couldn’t happen soon enough. I expect the temperature to continue to rise until then.

My question is will the anger end? Regardless of who is elected president, I suspect it may not. A lot of attention is focused on the alt-right, the right-wing ideologues who reject mainstream conservatism but I don’t we should ignore the alt-left, either. Those would include groups like BLM or people like the Bernie Bros.

I think it’s patently obvious that Trump is incapable of fulfilling the promises that attract the alt-right to him but Hillary Clinton isn’t even promising anything to the alt-left.

I don’t think there will be a honeymoon period. I think the anger will just continue to grow.

Everything & everyone is too extreme making post election harmony very unlikely.

Hillary has declared that she hates one quarter of the American electorate worse than she hates jihadis. Why should that kind of attitude improve anyone’s mood?

Ice, it’s not. My distaste for HRC has only grown deeper as more of her ethics, two-faced/fraudulent behavior, and deceptive conduct has slowly been revealed. IMO, she is far more the dangerous and cunning of the two candidates running. But, hides it far better than DT, along with the help of the MSM who is shamelessly routing for her to win.

And don’t forget that she’s also eager to start a war with Russia! That’s an added double plus good feature sure to bring joy to all!

Meh. The right has been angry since at least the Tea Party became a thing. I think you could go back to the Gingrich Contract election, though that anger seemed healthier than what we have now. I think much of the difference is that so much of what we have now is driven by the 24/7 media that makes a (very good) living out of keeping people angry. If you actually believe the stuff the media says is true, then I guess you should be a bit angry.

If HRC wins, we will go, of course, back to work in the morning, or, in my case, right after midnight. Hope has been dead for a long time for us, Hate? Who cares, what good is hate without power? Watch them, watch who’s laughing, at us, they know we are powerless. H R C ,W J C, B H O. Of course we want to turn over the pepetual power structure, that excludes everyone who is not employed by the Govt.

I have family sucking at that tit, it disrups everything. They want holidady dinners , This is how it works, they eat in the restauant, we eat bolonya sandwiches in the car, Grandma is confused by the distance between her children, Obama’s dependants cannot understand why we cannot just let them pick up the tab. We who worked in the private sector fucked up, I admit it. But don’t ask why I vote trump, now that my life is done, like the rest, I just want to bring the whole thing down around you fuckers’ ears. Offer me welfare, why don’tcha, fuck you. Trump, Trump, Trump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the media is humming 24/7 with little else but HRC versus Trump. It’s being publicized like a do or die prize fight. Nonetheless, there is a pathos about this election in that the choices are so unrewarding. As Scott Adams describes it – it’s between a crook and a monster.

    Well put.
