The world reflects

Here’s a selection of 9/11 reflections from a variety of sources around the world or that reflect the changes in other countries since the attack.

  • ¡No Pasarán! translates an article from French writer Bertrand Latour. Apparently, the world wasn’t quite as united in support of the United States in the immediate aftermath of the attack as some would like to believe.
  • John Burgess of Crossroads Arabia reports on the changes that have taken place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the attacks.
  • German television station ZDF has a presentation that’s well worth looking at even if you speak no German. I found it very affecting. Hat tip: Sargasso.
  • Israeli blogger (and fellow Watcher’s Council member) AbbaGav posts a tribute to Angel Pabon, who died in the attack.
  • UK blogger EU Referendum has a reflection.
  • Bengladeshi blogger The 3rd World View posts tributes to Greg Atlas, a New York firefighter and Nurul Haq Miah and Shakila Yasmin. a Muslim Bengladeshi couple, all killed in the attack.

The name of the French writer is Bertrand Latour, not Bernard Latour. Many thanks.
