The Watcher’s Council has announced their selections for the posts of the last week most deserving of recognition. It was an all-Katrina week for the Watcher’s Council: the Council and non-Council selections are all Katrina-related. I don’t think there was ever any real doubt on which Council post would win this week. The winning Council post was Right Wing Nut House’s Katrina: Response Timeline. This great post was clearly enormous work but it’s not only a great resource—it’s a public service. The second place post was my own Learning from History: the Relief and Rebuilding of New Orleans.
The winning non-Council post for the week was Varifrank’s 10 Things I learned From Hurricane Katrina. The second-place non-Council post was Cold Fury’s Tom Ridge’s Duct Tape.
