The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winner in the Council post category was The Colossus of Rhodey’s “Culture of Whine (a rant)â€, for which I voted. Sharing second place honors were JoshuapunditZero Hour…Iran Now Has Material For First Nuclear Bomb’s “Oh, the musical memories …” and The Provocateur’s “Some Perspective on PNC, Fraud, and the Bailout”.
The winning non-Council post was Serendituous Altruism’s post, “American troops in Afghanistan through the eyes of a French OMLT infantryman”, a translation of a post from a French soldier serving in Afghanistan which, apparently, Freedom Fighter and I both nominated. There was a three-way tie for second place honors among Israelly Cool’s “The despicable Lauren Booth”, NRO’s “Party of Privilege”, and The Daily Beast’s “No Stimulus From Government Spending”.
