The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winning Council post was Joshuapundit’s post, “Black Liberation Theologyâ€. Apparently, my vote put it over the top. Second place honors went to Wolf Howling for “Another UN Obscenity (Updated)”, on the suborning of the UN’s Commission on Human Rights to deny freedom of speech.
The winning non-Council post was Acute Politics’s “5 Years, 1 yearâ€. I thought that this reflection on the fifth anniversary of our invasion of Iraq was a good one but there were enough good non-Council posts this week that it didn’t earn my vote. Second place honors went to The Strata-Sphere’s “ NY Times Reporters Try To Defend Grave Mistake — Of Course Fail”. Although it didn’t win I encourage you to read the excellent entry that did receive my vote, “Safe at Home Interviews Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser”.
