I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before but for us Tuesday is carry-out night.  We frequently order from the fabulous Kow Kow—frequently enough that they recognize my voice on the phone and are polite about my broken Chinese when I pick up.
Well, a new restaurant has opened up less than two blocks from us—Chai Asian Bistro—and I ordered from it tonight. The menu is sort of Pan-Asian with a distinct Thai cast to it. I ordered chicken satay, egg roll, and basil chicken.
I’ll have a complete review later with pictures and a facsimile of the menu. For now: recommended.
Carry out or sit in at one of the half dozen or tables in the casual-chic setting. Mastercard and Visa accepted.
I don’t recommend just any restaurant within walking distance (although it helps).
