Midday Check-in

Voter turnout is extremely light in the precinct in which I’m working—I’d be surprised if we have a total turnout at the end of the day of 20%. To put this in some perspective we had nearly 90% turnout in the general election in November. Judging by what people are saying the vote will be split.

That means a well-organized candidate that can turn his or her supporters out could get the nomination and in Chicago the nomination is the election.
