I don’t find myself in much of a celebratory mood today.  More pensive.  I’m thinking of what a wonderful country this is, how very much we’ve succeeded in over the years, and what we’ve failed in.  And I’m reminded of Winston Churchill’s comment: “Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm”.
