It Aint’t Necessarily So

Alex Tabarrok points out data that suggest that white Democrats, independents, and Republicans are not enormously different in how racist they are:

It is undeniable that some Americans are racist but racists split about evenly across the parties. No party has a monopoly on racists.

I think it’s interesting that the data also suggest that racism is a fringe view in both parties. Or else that everybody’s lying about their views.

    Please tell me you will not tell Reynolds. It will take one of his primary political arguments away.

    After all, Presidential competency became an empty shell of an argument long ago. The man needs a lifeline….
