The following headline at The Week caught my eye:
“How do you weaponize a rabbit?”
Now, anyone who knows much about rabbits—I mean actual rabbits rather than their popular image—knows that’s a silly question. They already come pre-weaponized.
The article itself is about using rabbits as a delivery system for tularemia as a weapon of war and is mildly interesting.
“Look, that rabbit’s got a vicious streak a mile wide! It’s a killer!” (Tim the Enchanter)
Now this book captures the true spirit of rabbititity. There’s a synopsis here which describes the book as “wildly inappropriate”.
PD went exactly where I was going, and where Schuler MUST have intended!
Dave,
Not sure if it’s your end or my end, but the home page doesn’t load for me. I can navigate to individual blog pages, but the home page is completely blank. There might be a weaponized rabbit at work here….
I’m aware of it and working on it. It’s puzzling. It seems to be some bizarre interaction between my web host, CloudFlare (a proxy system), and Akismet (spam-blocking plugin).
If I deactivate Akismet, I can reach my home page and get several hundred spam comments an hour. If I activate Akismet, I can’t reach my home page but I don’t get spam comments, either.
Update
While I work on the problem, I’ll add links to new posts here:
