I’ve just published a foreign policy-related post at Outside the Beltway:
WSJ Wonders About Transnistria, Too
The Wall Street Journal notices that Transnistria, a tiny territory about the size of Cook County, is a pretty darned good candidate for a Crimea-style annexation (just as I pointed out yesterday).
And chance the Germans get Konigsberg and Danzig back? LOL
But I seem to recall that the Soviets, with approval of their Western allies, were quite effective in their ethnic cleansing after WWII. No doubt the inspiration for Biden’s plan to partition and ethnically cleanse Iraq.
Kasparov has been talking about Transnistria for several days now, and Amy Knight has a piece in the New York Review of books, I think it was. Transnistria has apparently voted to join Russia.
