Matt Yglesias does a pretty good of explicating the reasons for the Clinton campaign’s recent attacks on Barack Obama in regards to Iraq. Opponent opposed the invasion? Attack him. Subsequently, he’s voted, essentially, the same way you have? Attack.

Ties in nicely with my post on radicalism below. Danton, the author of the title quote (“Boldness, again boldness, and always boldness”), wasn’t radical enough for the Jacobins and they guillotined him. Wasn’t it Napoleon who advised always to be the first to attack?
