It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that and couldn’t help but notice how distracting all the smoking was. Times certainly have changed on that score.
Yeah, but without the smoking would Bacall have had that voice?
Heh, good point. Maybe it’s the recording but frankly she doesn’t sound very good there.
There’s something really glamorous about the movie stars of that era. As a kid I was always more captivated with the old black and white 30’2-40’s films than current ones.
