The Watcher’s Council has announced its picks for the most outstanding posts of the preceding week. The winner in the Council post category was Rhymes With Right’s “About The Chimp Cartoonâ€. There was a three-way time for second place among Bookworm Room for “Giving the people what they want”, The Razor for “Octomom: A Symbol of Obama’s America”, and The Colossus of Rhodey for “Reaction Eric Holder’s “cowards†comment”.
The winning non-Council post was the The Nose On Your Face’s “Islamic Rage Boy Addresses Muslim TV Exec’s Recent Wife-Beheading”. Second place honors went to The Long War Journal for “Analysis: Pakistan peace agreement cedes ground to the Taliban”. I nominated this post so I’m quite gratified at this result. I also see that this is the first time in quite a while that neither of the non-Council winning posts have been from professional media for which I am thankful.
