The Worst Thing About an Obama Loss in November

I agree with James Joyner that Sen. Barack Obama remains the favorite to be elected to the presidency and the election is his to lose.

But, on the odd chance that he isn’t elected, do you know what the worst aspect of an Obama loss would be?

It wouldn’t be all the loss of all of the good Sen. Obama could do or the change that wouldn’t happen or the hopes that would be dashed.

It wouldn’t be that John McCain would be the next president.

It would be that we’d have another four or eight years of Clintons in the political spotlight.

  • Oh my God. That might make actually vote for Obama even though I disagree with him on damn near everything.
