WSJ’s Josh Chin reports some reactions from Chinese social media to the North Korean nuclear weapon test. I found it interesting reading. Note that some of them react much as I said they would: it reflects a loss of face to China. Don’t underestimate that. We call it “biting the hand that feeds you” but in the context of the China-North Korea relationship it’s even more serious than that. More like lèse-majesté.
