The Council has spoken!

The Watcher’s Council has announced its selections for the posts of the last week most deserving of recognition. The winning Council post was my post on the overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran. In second place was Dymphna’s post, “The Counterterrorism Blog Looks Into the Face of Evil”.

The first place non-Council winner was Iraq the Model’s post in anticipation of the referendum on the Iraqi constitution, “Iraqis Preparing to Decide…”. There was a three-way tie for second place with

Army of Liberation’s investigative piece “Chemical Weapons, Drug Smuggling, and Other Crimes of the Yemeni Dictator” (worth reading for the bibliography alone)
QandO Blog’s commentary “Steps to Limited Government”
and RedState.org’s interview “Andrew Bostom: The Legacy of Jihad”

all sharing the honor.

The complete list of winners is here.
